OMG! I can't believe she wore that onesie to school with no pants. |
At 15 months old, Chloe has definately claimed her role as princess of the house. She loves to climb and play on the sofas as well as play with anything electronic: Cell phones, cameras, and remotes. And what is even more amazing is that she knows what each are for. At her 15 month doctor's appointment she was 19 lbs and 28 and 3/4 inches long. She is only in the 4th percentile for weight and in the 9th percentile for height, but is perfectly healthy and normal for her age. She is understanding more and more of the world around her. She knows when something is hot and that hats go on your head and that you use a comb in your hair. She can point to her nose, eyes, ears, head, teeth, tongue, hair, knees, fingers, feet and her belly. She love her Daddy and we consider it her first word. She says Daddy and points to him. She also knows that other men shopping at Target with their kids--she points to them and says Daddy. She loves the kitty and gives him hugs, much to his dismay. Chloe is an OK eater, it seems about every other week she goes on a hunger strike and barely eats, but then she'll have a week or so when she eats really good. It is hard to tell what she likes, but she usually loves scrambled eggs with cheese, blueberries, applesauce, pasta, and we even found a chicken sausage that she will eat. She has been completely weened off the bottle for the past two weeks, and I'm just about to pack them all up for storage--It is only sippy cups now for this little one. Her favorite toys include her dollhouse and little people, books, and anything with push buttons. She is still wearing most of her 12 month clothes, but we will probably start bringing out her 18 month clothes in another month or two. She is also still in her infant carseat, but she should be getting close to 20 pounds and so we are shopping for the next car seat, she can still use her infant one up to 32 pounds and 32 inches, but it will be nice to have one in each car. She loves going to school and seeing her friends. Some of them are a little older and know more words and when she comes in the door they point and say "Chloe." She does art projects almost every single day and loves to play in their indoor gym.
