What do you want for breakfast?

Dear Chloe,

Mommy made you this wonderful breakfast. All the mommy blogs talk about making food fun, so I gave you a pink smiley bagel and banana towers and you didn't touch one bit of it. It's ok. Next time I will use gummy bears for the eyes to get you to at least like the cream cheese off their gummy backs.

There is a happy holiday and Purim is its name o P-U-R-I-M

Thus is the song Chloe has been singing all week- at school they have been making groggers and costumes and baskets of treats. All the kids in the class love Queen Ester and boo and hiss when the name Hamen comes up.

Time for a hair cut!

After a brief attempt to let Chloe's bangs grow out, the decision was made to get them trimmed up. Chloe loved wearing her hair clips and ponytails- they just wouldn't stay in all day and when we picked her up at school, she looked like a shaggy dog with her bangs covering her eyes.

The trip to the Cool Cuts was the best one yet. I guess the 3rd time really is the charm. She picked out Kung Fu Panda 2 to watch and decided to sit in the yellow taxi. She even wore the cape so she wouldn't get hair all over her. She also sat still enough to get braids and glitter in her hair. But I think her favorite part was getting the lollypop at the end.

Rocket Girl

"I want to go to park". Now that the days are longer (and we are trying to not watch so much tv) Chloe has enjoyed flying like Buzz Lightyear on the Rocketships at our neighborhood park. She can even climb on and off all by herself. Once she tires of the Rocketship she enjoys an occasional swing on the monkey bars and then sliding down the slide. It won't be long until she goes down one of the big slides all by herself.

Quack quack

Chloe had some good 'ol fashioned fun feeding the ducks at our local ducky park. We even brought specialized duck and geese food so that the ducks would have a healthy dinner.  Chloe loved quacking with them.
