Belly--24 and 27 1/2 weeks

It is hard to believe that I still have 12 weeks to go and the baby still has probably 4 pounds to gain. I feel so huge already and totally understand why the moo-moo is the outfit of choice for pregnant moms-to-be. I've been a little lax in my belly pictures--part laziness, part--do I really want pictures of my belly in this state, but here is the latest--Week 24 vs week 27 1/2.

My belly button is going through some crazy transformations as well--I'm not sure if it going to pop out or just go completely flat-who knows.

24 Weeks

27 1/2 Weeks

I've also been wondering if I should get some pregnancy photos taken--I've seen this done as a way to record this time in my life--I guess kinda like a wedding-This will be the only time I'm pregnant with this little person--so that is our new poll on the right hand side--Please vote--I haven't decided yet....Below are some of the examples I've found that I like.

Milk goes in the fridge.

Pregnancy Brain strikes again--I went looking for the milk--where else, but in the fridge, but It wasn't in there. I knew it was not all gone because I had just used it in morning with my honey nut cheerios. But where was it--I thought maybe I left it on the counter, but it was not left out. So I opened the pantry and that is where I found the milk.

100 Days and Counting!

With only 100 days to go--and that is if she is not early!!! It's crunch time--

Baby Registry--Done--see side bar for the links to Pottery Barn Kids, Babiesrus, and Target! We still have a couple of things to add--I have to measure for a gate for the stairs and I'm still researching the perfect jogging stoller.

Child Birth Prep Class--Done--well we are signed up, so that is all I can do for now.

Nursery--Not so much--need alot of help in this area, but hopefully one good home improvement weekend and we'll be close--We did buy a ceiling fan and picked up paint samples for the dressers and I have all the knobs and pulls for the dressers--just have to get to work on them.

I'm signing up for everything parent related I can find and have already signed up for 3 years of Parents Magazine and am part of the Huggies Happy Baby Network--whatever that means.

I shopped till I dropped at the Motherhood store--so hopefully I have enough clothes, but may need to make one more trip at the end.

Last 100 days--here I come!

I thought not getting sleep happened AFTER the baby came.

So for the second time in a week--it is the middle of the night and I am wide awake. Sometimes I wake up, but can always fall back asleep, but this week I've lied in bed in the middle of the night WIDE AWAKE--so wide awake that I have to get out of bed and do something. It was either blogging or doing the dishes and blogging won this time. I don't know if I'm uncomfortable or if this is just some cruel joke that my body is playing on me to prepare for what is to come. But I thought at least I'd have 3 more month's of sleep.

Babies R Us

Only 15 weeks left and I'm starting to stress out--just a little--at how unprepared we are to be parents. We had a huge reality check on Thursday when we registered at Babies R Us. For support and guidence we took along our "experienced" parent friends Tim and Brittany. Tim and Brittany live in our neighborhood and actually have the same model house as we do (minus the loft--they opted for 4 bedrooms upstairs) so I thought they would good guides. They have 2 little ones, Blake and Myah. Myah will be a year older than our baby, so I'm sure they will become good friends. The trip to Babies R Us was exhausting and we didn't even get to strollers and carseats, which I felt we needed to research a little more. There is just so much stuff there, but I think we made a good dent in figuring out what we needed.
What do the dad's do at Babies R Us?....... Good thing they didn't have the
basketball game on!!!

Baby Registry

Slowly but surely we are trying to get things done. So I'm checking this off the list (at least a portion of it). We've registered at Pottery Barn Kids--mostly for the bedding and some room decor. Just click on registry and type in Kelly Kron and AZ as the state and you should pull it up. We also plan to register at Babies R Us and Target (I'll post when those are finished--hopefully this week).
