Tinkering Toddler Update

We just love the JCC were Chloe goes to school.  I love that they send out weekly and monthly emails to the parents letting us know what our little munchkin is doing.  Here is the excerpt about Chloe's class from this months newsletter.

"April was a very busy month for the tinkering toddlers. The toddlers focused on vocabulary this month, learning about transportation, outer space, fruits, and nature. Our art projects for these topics have enhanced the toddler's fine motor skills. Make sure to enjoy our various artworks in the room and hallway. This month the tinkering toddlers have started some individual and small group work. Here, we cover concepts such as sorting, color recognition, body part recognition, counting, and more. The toddlers are enjoying working on these concepts."

Here is a picture of Chloe's class learning about a firetruck from the Chandler Fire Dept.  You can stop looking for Chloe in the picture--they tell us she wanted nothing to do with the truck. Maybe next year!
