Water Play, Pudding Painting and Wacky Wednesdays

Here is an email and some pictures I received today from Chloe's teachers at school:

Dear Parents,

All the toddlers are very excited to be in their new room. They have made the transition from sitting in high chairs to eating at the table and from sleeping in a crib to napping on a cot.

Water Play on Tuesday and Thursday is a big hit. We will continue as long as the temperature is not over 95 in the mornings.

This summer will be exploring our senses. We started with pudding painting and playing with paper. All the children had a wonderful time. We will be exploring a lot more this summer.

Thank you,
Sonia and Dianna

Chloe has so much fun and each day brings a new adventure in her class.  So far my favorite is the pudding painting and Wacky Wednesdays.  On Wacky Wednesday's the kids are supposed to come to school with mismatched clothes and/or their clothes backwards.  Chloe's teacher Dianna came to the class in pig tails and that was just too wacky for Chloe--she took one look at her teacher and started crying.  I explained that Chloe sometimes has an issue with hats and perhaps she thought the pig tails were some sort of hat.

Chloe is doing great with her finger foods and milk. She goes all day with no bottle, but sometimes still has a bottle in the morning and still has one before bed.  We will soon be completely off the formula (one more container to go through and then I can say bye bye to that $25.00 a week expense).
